Lakeside homestay and Like peninsula are camping sites and homestays with a super chill view with an area of over 15,000m2 of pine forest near Dong Do lake, considered a miniature Da Lat near Hanoi. This is one of the few camping sites that combines homestays near Hanoi, the most beautiful and romantic Dong Do lake, designed specifically for groups of young people and families. The camping site is located within the Lakeside homestay campus, ensuring full amenities and safety.
Location: 40km from the center of Hanoi, just over 1 hour drive.
We provide full camping services including:

We manage and own both Lakeside homestay campsite and Like Peninsula campsite. These two campsites are both located on the edge of Dong Do Lake and are 300m apart. You can choose to camp on either side as requested.
Daytime camping price: 25,000/person
Nighttime camping price: 50,000/person
(Free for children under 2 years old)

Camping does not have a check-in and check-out time
Room rental check-in at 14:00 and check-out at 12:00
All camping services require a deposit in advance. After finalizing the departure date and rental list, you will deposit from 100k --> 200k (depending on the number of guests and rental items). The deposit will be automatically deducted from the bill when paying.
When booking a room, you will have to transfer a deposit of 50% of the room price according to each different type.
You will be refunded 100% of the deposit when changing the schedule and must notify Lakeside homestay as soon as possible. Your deposit is for the purpose of Lakeside homestay knowing the number of guests to arrange the appropriate number of staff, saving. Lakeside homestay does not intend to take deposits from customers.

There is no additional charge when you bring camping equipment as well as food and drinks into the campsite.

Camping and climbing
The area around Dong Do Lake also has many trails to climb and walk along the mountain tops. These trails go through the pine forest, which are very easy to walk and beautiful. The time to climb to the top of the mountain is not too long, only about 1 hour to 1.5 hours, depending on everyone's health, children over 6 years old can also climb by themselves. However, to avoid getting lost, you should have a local guide. On the top of the mountain, you can camp and have a snack before going down the mountain. Limit the use of fire on the top of the mountain because it is easy to cause forest fires. You should use cold food for safety and convenience. The appropriate time to climb the mountain is from November to May every year. Lakeside homestay will help you have a fun camping and climbing trip at Dong Do Lake.
Lakeside Camping
The camping area is close to the 150m long lake, this is the place with the largest area and length of the lake in Dong Do area with a really chill and cool landscape. The lawn is large enough to be a playground for children and outdoor activities.

Going about 6km upstream of Dong Do Lake, you will encounter a very clean and beautiful small stream in the middle of the pine forest. Here you can wade along the stream with puddles like natural swimming pools, not deep and very safe. Along the stream you can also encounter clusters of thorny chestnuts, a very interesting experience because many of you will see them for the first time. The area with the stream can be reached by car, you can also camp here completely free of charge because there are no services inside. However, this area is still densely forested, the entrance is a very small trail, so you should wear long clothes to avoid mosquitoes and grass that scratches your skin. Lakeside homestay will guide and show you the way to the wading area upstream of Dong Do Lake when requested.
